Desmon R. Bryant, a native of Houston, Texas, is the youngest son of Bishop P.E. Bryant and Mrs. P.E. Bryant. He is the devoted husband of Missionary Franchell Bryant and the proud father of three daughters: Madison Danielle, Taylor Rose, and Grace Bryant.
Although Desmon was saved at the age of 10, it wasn’t until 2010 that he fully committed his life to God. On April 23, 2010, during the Texas South Central Ministers and Workers Meeting, he was filled with the Holy Ghost while playing the organ on the official night. Just three months later, on July 25, 2010, he preached his first sermon. Desmon is now an ordained elder in the Church of God in Christ (COGIC).
A dedicated member of The Island of Hope Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Bishop P.E. Bryant, Desmon serves as Chief Musician and previously served as Youth Pastor for seven years. Currently, he holds the position of Co-Pastor of The Island of Hope. On a jurisdictional level, he serves as President of the Texas South Central Youth Department, Episcopal Adjutant, and Jurisdictional Musician. Internationally, he serves as an Apostolic Aid to the General Board of the Church of God in Christ.
Desmon is passionate about ensuring that his life and ministry reflect the glory of God, always striving to direct attention away from himself and toward the Lord.
